Essex Countryside and Wildlife Course
The Autumn and Spring terms were held in the Conference Room on the first floor at Moulsham Mill in Chelmsford.
The Summer term consisted of visits to nearby historic and countryside places of interest, plus there was an annual day out to further afield in the county. The course consisted of 3 terms of evenings plus one day extended summer visit.
The class normally met on Monday evenings at 7.30 - 9.30pm
It was based at Moulsham Mill,
Parkway, Chelmsford, Essex CM2 7PX
The mill is located near the confluence of the Rivers Chelmer & Can, situated on watermeadows. The white-painted timber lap-boarded and brick watermill stands behind the fine Georgian millhouse built in 1785. The mill is mentioned in the Domesday Book of 1086.
